About Me

About the Author
Thaddeus W Johnson is an accomplished drummer residing in the Bay Area of California. He was the drummer and namesake of the reggae group called “Thaddeus” from 1986-1990. The group was one of the premiere groups in the area during that time. In 1988, he was voted Musician of the Year at the first and only Reggae Awards in Oakland, California. In 1994, he formed a reggae/ska band called “Dreadboy” that performed until 1998.
Thaddeus has been providing drum instruction since 1997. His students range from 5 to 55 years old. He is a dedicated instructor and enjoys observing how quickly his students progress from his lessons.
Look forward to great drumming tips, drum information, drum products and accessories. If you are looking into starting a band, you will want to purchase your copy of "Crucial Steps To Starting Your Own Band". The book is very informative in setting the foundation for success.
As for anyone that has the desire in learning to play the drums, be sure to get your copy of "Beginner Drum Set Lessons". You will learn how to hold the drumsticks to playing cool drumbeats. The book is easy to follow with step-by-step instructions and comes complete with a dvd and a free pair of drumsticks. Check out the YouTube video!
